It would be interesting if Sony did by Ubisoft. Having Assassin's Creed as an exclusive would be big. Also having The Division could be a real bonus. You have that 10 year agreement to keep COD on PS. That is plenty of time to build up The Division as a COD alternative so if Microsoft says no more PS release after 10 years they have a back-up ready. If they don't buy Ubisoft they could still do similar with Killzone or Resistance. Get behind the game(s) hard, really promote and build the IP up.

Astrobot preordered. 80 levels is a lot. They have said DLC will follow. I wonder if that is included in the 80 levels or will be on top of those?

I'm not sure Peter will even be in Spider-Man 3. Back in November 2023 Insomniac Games said that Miles Morales will be the main Spider-Man in their universe going forward. This disappoints me because for me Peter Parker is Spider-Man. He is who l grew up reading the comics, old cartoons etc. I'm 59 and stopped reading comics decades ago. I had heard of Miles and knew there was a new Spider-Man. These games are my introduction to the character. I find him boring. The Miles Morales game was fine but l dropped out for a few months before going back to finish it. I struggled to be interested in Miles. The same has happened with Spider-Man 2. I got it on release day. Played it for about for 33 hours, 52% game progress and dropped out. I haven't played it since October last year. I want to go back. Venom isn't in the story yet and there hasn't been any face to face action between Spidey and Kraven. I have reasons sitting there to get back into the game. I'm no because l'm not enjoying being Miles.

Sony buying Ubisoft doesn't makes sense, PlayStation already want to keep their 1st party studios moderately big (not huge) and agile ... Ubisoft is giant azz company with over 23k employees (then you need to pay and take care and manage of a huge amount of people) Sony buying Ubisoft will result in massive lay offs (will same happen if anyone buys Ubisoft)

if they add Timesplitters 2 and Simpsons Hit n Rub my life will be complete

I wanted one of these new psp devices but I was hoping it would look like the ps5 remote player if it looks like all the other psp devices id properly pass on it I like the controller concept with the screen in the center

Not gonna preorder or buy Astro Bot unless they add VR support, which they won't. Maybe they'll port it to PC and someone will do Sony's job for them and mod in VR support.

I definitely preordered astrobot asAstro it as soon as I heard about it!!! I wish more games would make use of the DualSense the way this franchise has. Astrobot is awesome!!!

Don't give Sony anti-consumer ideas with acquisitions! Making these once multiplatform series downgrade to just exclusives is not only anti-consumer (And a pretty lazy way to get people to buy their consoles), but also hurts the industry as a whole!

I also played the VR which was an incredible experience. 15 to 20 hours is absolutely perfect and sweet. I don't understand how people are complaining about a 60 dollar full 15 to 20 hour game. That's insane. Even if this was a solid 10 to 12 hours it would still be worth it. I agree with you that the time cycle for game development is utterly ridiculous. Marvels Spider-Man 3 leak isn't surprising although disappointing that the surprise was ruined. I would definitely expect a part 3 though. They might just take away any venom dlc to release his own smaller game or put it in part 3. David Jaffe is crazy if he thinks Sony should buy Ubisoft honestly. They are honestly constantly releasing subpar overpriced games lately. They are sneaking in extra price gouging methods. Also the purchasing of entire game companies honestly needs to stop.
